This is my go to recipe for pancakes and they are so easy to make.
2 cups – Plain Flour
4 tablespoons – Sugar
4 Teaspoons – Baking Powder
2 Teaspoons – Salt
2 cups – Milk
4 Tablespoons – Oil (Vegetable/sunflower)
In a large bowl place in the dry ingredients first. Then add the wet ingredients. Use a whisk to mix all ingredients together until smooth and there are no lumps. If you would like a thicker batter add some flour.
Heat a frying pan with a small about of butter. Ladel on batter and cook until bubbles cover the pancake. Flip pancake and leave for 2 minutes to cook on other side.
To keep pancakes warm while frying, keep until a tea towel.
Serve Pancakes warm with your chosen topping.
